The first event of May is ‘Kamogawa Odori’of Ponto Cho which is the final performance in Spring(Haru Odori).
Meanwhile Kanazashi,hair ornament,of Geiko and Maiko are shifting to early summer flower such as Fuji and Ayame.

There are actually the most number of Geiko and Maiko in every Hanamachi coming to see ‘Kamogawa Odori’after finishing their own town’s Odori.
To see another town’s Odori is stimulating very much and they could learn from it.

Geiko and Maiko are not only keeping tradition in town but also doing best for daily diligence.
